In June of 2004 an unlikely band of 8 travelers set off from LA seeking experience and adventure in the Peruvian Amazon.
The project was to build a much needed Dormitory to shelter other adventurers in their quest to know the Amazon and help its peoples.

These pictures portray the building of the Dorm at El Fundo on the Amazon river where APECA has its field Headquarters.
