In June of 2004 an unlikely band of 8 travelers set off from LA seeking experience and adventure in the Peruvian Amazon.
The project was to build a much needed Dormitory to shelter other adventurers in their quest to know the Amazon and help its peoples.

These pictures give a view of our life and times at El Fundo and portray the building of the Dorm at El Fundo on the Amazon river where APECA has its field Headquarters.
