The Teacher Mini-Grant Awards Ceremony is this Wednesday, Nov. 30 at Don Julian Elementary at 3:30.

Addresses & Names needed for Thanksgiving Basket Thank You letters. Also read a thank you card from a mother who received a Thanksgiving laundry basket.

The IMC Luncheon is on MONDAY, Dec. 5 with the Citrus College Choir.

Sign-ups are started for our Rotary Holiday Party at Charlie & Susan's house on Sat. Dec. 10th at 6:00 PM.

The Rotary Holiday Lunch Program will be on Tuesday, Dec. 13th with the Bassett High School Choir. Please invite guests.

2011 Teacher Mini-Grant Program: Twenty teachers from the Hacienda La Puente & Bassett Unified School Districts were awarded $300 each for classroom projects, materials and supplies that go above and beyond the regularly available curriculum resources. Numerous applications were submitted through the K-Adult grades and the Rotary review committee selected the top 20 applicants to be recognized. The Awards Ceremony & Reception was hosted by Bassett Unified at Don Julian Elementary School in La Puente. Rotary Chairperson Vicky Rossier and Rotarian Superintendents Martin Galindo and Barbara Nakaoka welcomed the honorees and their school administrators. A special thank you goes to Matt Briglio, Golf Tournament Chair, and President-Elect Paul Gough of State Farm Insurance for their help in raising funds for the Teacher Mini-Grant Program.
